** Spring Conference Cancellation **
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have continued to monitor the situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus) in respect to the upcoming Spring conference. As reported by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the virus continues to spread globally and the situation is so dynamic that each day brings a new development.
The ORUG Board has been meeting regularly to discuss the situation and has determined that it is necessary to cancel the ORUG 2020 Spring Conference events in order to meet the ORUG Boards’ obligation to protect the health and safety of the attendees and others supporting the event. This decision was further confirmed by concerns received from ORUG vendors & attendees, cancellations of similarly sized conferences in the U.S. and globally, as well as a growing volume of confirmed cases of coronavirus throughout the country.
At this time we will not be rescheduling the Spring conference. Our next conference is scheduled for August 27, 2020, at the OCLC, and we plan to move as much of the Spring agenda as possible to the Fall conference.
Welcome to the Ohio Regional User Group (ORUG). We are based out of Columbus, Ohio, and hold conferences twice a year. Conferences include both PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud content geared toward functional and technical users. ORUG provides a forum for PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud customers to share and exchange resources and experiences. All of us have experiences, both successful and not so successful, to share and hope that you will join us for our next conference.
